About Us - Meet The Team

The Property Investor PA service was launched in October 2006. The concept developed from the frustrations felt by John and others he networked with, in trying to get everything done in their property businesses. John excelled at running efficient processes, a fact that did not go unnoticed by his close peers and he began helping them with the time consuming lead qualification process. Soon he and his wife Steph were inundated and grew their team to cope with the demand. They have not looked back since and now have a small but superb team of PAs that they have personally trained, plus an excellent and secure IT infrastructure that allows them all to work efficiently from anywhere in the world (and they do!) to maintain their very high standards.

 

Profile - John Rattigan
My background is over 20 years in financial services and Customer Services roles working for household names including RAC, Axa, GE, HSBC and ntl amongst others. Having worked my way up from junior clerical and cashier roles in banking and insurance, I progressed into management and have managed teams and departments ranging from 6 - 300 people. I also have extensive project management experience and am Six Sigma trained as well as holding the Financial Planning Certificate (FPC1) Qualification. My last corporate role was as a Training Manager for one of the largest healthcare recruitment agencies in the UK, training their 220 staff in IT, Sales, and Customer services skills.

My niche during my career has been in managing either new start-ups or transforming poor performing teams. The secret to success is in effectively managing your people, your processes and your budget. For us as property investors running our own small businesses, these 3 sources of power are called our Time, Energy and Money. It is by leveraging these 3 sources correctly that you will reach your goals - and that is where I come in by freeing up your time and energy to help you make more money through accelerating towards your goals.

I have been investing in property since 1999 mainly in refurbishing to sell, However in more recent years I have seen the merits of buying to hold too, and have been building my own portfolio for myself and my wife in the UK and abroad, since going full time in property in early 2006. I've made a lot of mistakes that I have learnt from, and I have a very wide network of friends and contacts in Property. Both of which I hope you can tap into to shortcut your way to success in property.

As well as running the Property Investor PA service, I also have my own property portfolio of course, and I run the PIPA300 capped membership property forum and have other business interests in Internet marketing and as a distributor for the Utility Warehouse.
